The prototype loco was built to 3′-6″ gauge by Beyer Peacock for the Norwegian Railways.
The model is scratch built to scale seven standards from my own patterns, profile milled in nickel silver and brass. Powered by a Mashima motor running through a High Level’s loadhauler gearbox on re-profiled Slater’s wheels, home produced split axles and insulated horn blocks.
Smoke box door, chimney and dome were turned on the lathe from brass, the spark arrestor being sheet nickel.
